Christoph Rüther

Christoph Rüther studied architecture at the University of Hanover, completing his studies in 1992 with his diploma thesis on "Living in Ronnenberg."
Immediately afterward, he worked in an architectural firm under the leadership of Professor Hubert Krawinkel in Paderborn. There, he focused primarily on public projects such as school buildings, sports halls, and university buildings.
In 1996, Christoph Rüther established his own practice and has since successfully run "Architekturbüro Rüther" in Steinheim. His work encompasses everything from urban planning to detailed design, particularly in relation to private, public, church, and commercial projects. He is also a state-certified expert for acoustic and thermal insulation and an energy efficiency expert.
In 1993, he began teaching for the Structural Design department at the Leibniz University Hannover under the "Institut für Entwerfen und Konstruieren". From 2004 to 2016, he also worked there as a research associate.
Currently, Christoph Rüther supervises student projects and seminars for Bachelor and Master courses on topics such as "Structural Design", "Lightweight Structures", "Ertüchtigen und Transformieren" and other current topics.
