Course discription
The project London Structures focuses on the architectural design of new structure, expanding the historic urban fabric in central London. The aim is to develop an efficient and high-quality architectural solution through the symbiosis of form, structure, and construction.
As a first step, AI-assisted design strategies are generated, critically analyzed, and refined into an individual design approach. Sustainable and material-efficient structural systems are explored, tested through digital and physical models, and articulated to a high level detail, to create a constructive and structural design language.
